The client on this project was back and forth from overseas with business and family abroad. They were embarking on a new house build and wanted a turn key result at the completion of the project. The home itself was destined to take up a huge footprint of the land available and would eventually landlock the rear yard. With complex levels and a large amount of rocky soil, a carefully considered and specific landscape design was critical in ensuring the vision and desired outcome was delivered. A beautiful design was presented and the client loved it!
Now for the construction. With time poor clients and a builder underway the only way this would work would be to engage highly experienced and quality contractors. They had to work side by side, the programme and flow of work was crucial and communication essential to deliver on the precise and detail driven design brief.
The hardscape in this project is clever in its mentality of clean lines, varying levels and eye catching features, such as the infinity edge and raised nib walls. Softened by beautiful greenery, the palette of glistening bisazza glass tiles accompanied by typical melbourne bluestone and polished concrete, the backyard is a visual feature as much as it is a great pool and spa for the family. In floor remco cover is housed beneath the rear bench seat and this gives peace of mind to the client when overseas. With all the features of a turn key home, automated irrigation, lights, pool function, remco cover, infloor cleaning and digital solar heating this project is exactly what the client wanted when they moved in to a brand new suburban contemporary home.
