Nestled in the chic enclave of South Yarra, Laguna presents a masterstroke of pool construction in collaboration with some of the industry’s best. Spanning 10.9 x 2.6-metres, this freeform concrete pool and spa seamlessly blend with the sophisticated contours of a modern courtyard.
The residents envisioned a courtyard offering a luxurious escape, as a fluid continuation of their home’s aesthetic. Essential to their vision was an uncluttered view, free from the interruption of pool fencing, allowing the pool to merge harmoniously with the landscape. This led to a custom designed pool distinguished by an infinity edge and a sunken wet-edge pit, ensuring the pool blends perfectly with its surroundings and enhances the sense of openness and connection with nature.
Laguna worked meticulously with the designers to manage the intricacies of this project, including precise spatial planning, innovative hydraulic design for the fully tiled infinity edge and the sunken wet-edge pit to ensure safety and compliance within the landscape.
The stunning Bisazza Delhi mosaic tiles transform the pool into a captivating lagoon-like haven, with curved steps and a bespoke champagne shelf to effortlessly blend leisure with luxury. This pool enhances the aesthetic of the residence, offering a unique retreat from urban life.
