For us at Laguna, wellness isn’t just a buzzword – it’s a lifestyle, and one that can be built into the very fabric of your outdoor space.
Wellness might mean something different to everyone. For some, it’s the rhythm of morning laps in the pool. For others, it’s a spa session or cold plunge after a long day, or a moment of stillness beside the water. Whatever it looks like, our approach is always the same – to design with intention and purpose.
From cold plunges to quiet morning soaks, see how we design outdoor spaces that bring wellness into everyday life.
Real Project Highlight: Wellness by design in Clifton Hill
In our Clifton Hill project, wellness wasn’t just considered – it was the purpose from the beginning.
The design brings together three distinct water zones to support rest, recovery and movement: a curved main pool for swimming and quiet immersion, an integrated cold plunge for contrast therapy, and a raised, freestanding spa designed for relaxation and ritual.
From the very first concept discussions, this pool was shaped around lifestyle — with the goal of creating a space that could support wellbeing through every season, from early morning routines to weekend resets.
A continuous infinity edge creates a gentle visual flow across the pool, eliminating visual barriers and allowing water to spill quietly into a concealed wet-edge pit. This fluidity is paired with soft Bisazza mosaics that shimmer with earthy tones — chosen specifically for their calming effect and ability to subtly reflect natural light.

A champagne shelf along one edge encourages stillness and pause, while the cold plunge sits neatly within the pool’s footprint — a dedicated wellness feature that remains visually seamless. The spa, raised and set apart, creates a warm retreat with views across the space, supporting both solo rest and shared moments.
Surrounding the pool, a minimalist landscape with natural materials, soft textures, and shaded zones creates a calming, uninterrupted flow from one space to the next — including areas designed specifically for yoga, exercise, stretching or quiet rest.
For this family, wellness is part of the rhythm of the day — woven into the environment and supported by every detail of the design.

Cold plunges, lap lanes, champagne shelving, built-in spa zones, and minimalist lines that invite calm and clarity.
