Toorak

Yes. Each Laguna pool is designed in direct response to the home and its architecture, with careful attention given to scale, proportion, materials and overall design approach.

In Toorak, where homes range from grand heritage residences to highly contemporary architectural builds, no two projects are the same. We’ve created pools that complement traditional homes with appropriate material selections and formal symmetry, as well as modern projects where clean lines, negative-edge details and expansive water surfaces become a defining architectural feature.

Laguna’s design team will always ensure the addition of a pool into an established or new landscape feels intentional rather than added later. We consider not just finishes, but sightlines, levels and how the pool is experienced from key areas throughout the home.

Absolutely. Collaboration is central to how Laguna delivers successful, award-winning projects, particularly in suburbs such as Toorak where pools form part of a broader architectural vision or project.

Working alongside architects, landscape architects and designers, as well as interior designers, allows the pool to be developed as part of a broader vision for the home from the earliest stages of the process. This integrated approach allows critical considerations such as pool positioning, sightlines and structural refinements alongside other outdoor living spaces to be resolved early, creating a more cohesive outcome.

From early design through to construction, this coordination is managed seamlessly, with clear communication ensuring design intent is carried through and the final outcome exceeds expectations.

Yes, heritage overlays can influence aspects of pool design and construction, including positioning, setbacks and how the pool relates to the existing home.

This may extend the approvals process, but it doesn’t limit what can be achieved. Laguna brings extensive experience managing these requirements, allowing each project to move forward with a clear approach that respects both the home and planning constraints.

The difference comes down to how each project is approached and delivered. Backed by an extensive portfolio and award-winning designs, Laguna creates entirely bespoke pools, shaped not only by the site and architecture, but by the homeowner’s vision for the space. With our design-first, purpose-led approach, we deliver highly-customised solutions with careful attention given to proportion, material selection and detailing to ensure the pool sits naturally within the property.

This has resulted in a portfolio of projects ranging from elegant geometric pools integrated into heritage homes, through to highlight engineered contemporary designs featuring spas, automated covers, custom water features, premium tiled mosaic finishes and features and a stunning outdoor area that seamlessly connects with the home and lifestyle intent.

Absolutely. Many of our Toorak projects extend well beyond just the swimming pool itself, incorporating spas, water features and outdoor zones as part of a complete outdoor environment - right from the beginning.

Rather than treating these elements as separate additions they are considered from the earliest stages of the design process. This allows features such as spillover spas, reflection ponds, feature walls, sun shelves, outdoor kitchens and entertaining terraces to be incorporated and allow everything you set out to achieve to be realised.

This means the finished project includes spaces that not only look good, but function naturally for entertaining, relaxation, wellness and everyday family use. Explore our Pools with Purpose page for how we bring purpose and intent into the design and construction of all of our pool projects.
